From the humble beginnings of a single restaurant in Rosettenville in 1987, Nando’s has grown into the largest South African restaurant group to expand beyond our borders. 

Nando’s is best known for its authentic PERi-PERi flame-grilled chicken, which has captivated customers the world over. All Nando’s PERi-PERi recipes, from the extensive range of restaurant chicken-bastings to sauces, spices and others, remain a closely guarded secret.

Aside from serving the very best in flame-grilled chicken, Nando’s is actively involved in South African creativity; discovering and nutruing young talent through their network of partners. These ongoing programmes engage art, design and music industries across Southern Africa. 

Nando’s creative programmes have sparked the careers of many an artist, some of whom have made it big on the international stage. Citing the volume of hidden talent in this country, their global footprint of restaurants gives them the platform to showcase South African creativity to world.
